Once you create a new profile, it will appear on the General tab in the Mail dialog box.
In the section “When starting Outlook, use this profile,” select the new profile from the drop-down menu of “Always use this profile.” And click OK.
After selecting the new profile, restart MS Outlook.
Reset Navigation Pane:
Reset the navigation pane settings in Outlook. Close all applications.
Hold Windows key and press R. In the run dialog, type, and press Enter.
If Outlook starts fine, you’re good. Close and Re-open normally.
If it still won’t open after resetting the navigation pane, or if it gives an error, close/exit out of any error pop-ups and rename the Outlook.xml file to Outlook.xml.old.
